The hotel is beautiful and immaculate with fantastic rooms. We encountered a slight issue with our booking through Booking.com, as we had reserved a triple room, but the hotel doesn’t actually offer them. After driving over 500 miles from the Highlands of Scotland, we were a bit disappointed to find just two beds in our room, especially as we were three adult males. However, the two lovely female staff members at reception were remarkable and arranged an extra room for us at no extra charge. The rooms were stunning, modern, and very spacious, featuring lovely bathrooms, a desk to work at, a large TV mounted on the wall, and super comfy, clean beds. There’s plenty of parking available, even for larger vans, and the rooms are well-equipped and contemporary, all within walking distance of the town centre. The staff were exceptionally helpful, cheerful, and truly fantastic; they deserve five stars all on their own. We would absolutely stay here again, but if booking through this site, I’d recommend confirming the number of beds in a room with the hotel first. The hotel has a bar and restaurant on-site, but we arrived too late to enjoy it as it had closed. You might think it would be noisy with a McDonald's right next door and the traffic, but it wasn’t at all; we had a wonderful night’s sleep.

Everything was wonderful. Especially the peace, relaxation, warmth, and assistance from the staff when we arrived quite late at 1am. Again during breakfast – it was truly lovely to experience that warmth while trying to unwind. The artwork throughout the hotel was beautiful, and the bright colours and design were uplifting. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were new, and the modern bathroom was spotless. I also appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the room. The variety of breakfast was impressively good, rivaling what you would expect in a 4 or 5-star hotel. One incident highlighted the professionalism of the establishment. A guest arrived at the same time as us, and due to an unusual accident, the glass door shattered. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the receptionist remained calm and professional, checking if she was alright and if she needed any medical assistance. She was a bit shaken but felt reassured that she was fine and just wanted to go to bed. By the next morning, everything was repaired and returned to normal. The way the situation was handled speaks volumes about the hotel and its management team. Considering all that is included, the price per night is a fantastic deal.
