The staff truly make this place special! Nothing was too much trouble for them. As newcomers, we were a bit hesitant about ordering a bottle of wine, but they kindly let us taste it first, and we ended up buying it. The menu was fresh for the staff as it had just been updated a few days prior, so we had plenty of questions, all of which were answered with patience. We encountered a couple of minor hiccups, but the manager handled them effortlessly. Would I come back? Absolutely! Would I recommend it? Without a doubt! And my dog was treated like royalty throughout our visit—he not only received a warm welcome but also some tasty treats, making him feel like part of the "regulars" family at this hotel/pub/restaurant. Overall, it deserves a solid 5 stars! Even though there were a few small issues, they were resolved so smoothly. A big shoutout to all the staff 👏. And don’t miss the crème brûlée—it’s a must-try! 👍

The layout of the hotel, with its rooms situated next to the pub-style restaurant instead of above it, provided a lovely sense of separation, all while being connected by a spacious, inviting, and beautifully decorated reception area. I had specifically requested a ground floor room close to an exit since I was traveling with my competition dogs, and I wanted to make it quick, quiet, and easy to take them outside for bathroom breaks. My room was absolutely ideal! The ventilation was fantastic, the space itself was roomy and incredibly relaxing, and my bed was wonderfully comfortable with pillows that were both cozy and supportive. I even had a full-sized under-counter fridge, which was perfect for storing my milk, drinks, snacks, and my dogs’ raw food. The TV was large, well-positioned, and very user-friendly.
