After my initial concerns about cleanliness on the first night due to a shortage of staff, I found that the team really listened, improved their communication, and provided incredible support moving forward. Sure, the furniture is a bit outdated and it’s not a luxury hotel, but the staff truly restored my faith in humanity. In times of crisis, they came together to ensure I had a comfortable and safe place to sleep, even adjusting their prices to help me out. It feels more like a family operation than a business, and in challenging times, this is exactly the kind of hotel that any community needs!

Everything was great, but the highlight was definitely the Indian restaurant connected to it. After a long trip and feeling too tired to head back into town for dinner, it was just what I needed. They were about to close, but they kindly offered to prepare a takeaway for me to enjoy in my room. I’m not sure if I just got lucky with the leftovers or if this is their usual portion size, but it was enormous! I filled up (and I can eat a lot) and still had enough left for the next day!
