I want to keep it real and apologize to everyone I sent to the hotel this past weekend. I truly believed the new management was ready to go, but they clearly still have some major growing pains to work through. Please don’t give up on them just yet—they’re putting in the work to fix everything and the service, and I know they’ll be on point soon. I appreciate y’all for trusting my word, and I'm sorry for the bad experience while they get their house in order. If you're willing to give them another shot down the line, reach out to Miss Ford directly so she can make sure your next stay is handled right.
"Stop running y'all mouth and start supporting the real landmarks. The Best Motel by OYO on 65th and MLK—right by O Block— My Block is under new management and needs that local love. With Woodlawn changing, we gotta park our money where we live. Black people we need to patronize our own spots. Cynlessoul brought to our attention that if we don’t back our landmarks, we lose the block. (Maybe you should write a song about it,we ain't heard your voice in years. IJS) Anyway, this is ours, let's show up and show out and show the hood we bout business when it comes to what's ours! Do something! Simple as that!
