This is one of those “hidden gem” and “don’t judge a book by its cover” things. The front may look old (it is an older place) but the rooms are awesome. This place is a really nice stay if you’re in the Beaver’s Bend /Mena / Talimina area. Great price too. My room is clean and very big. The bed is comfy, shower is clean and the TV works great. After motorcycling all day - this is exactly what I need to relax. Walmart across the way for supplies, restaurants nearby. I took their card so I can book this again when I am passing through.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. Staff was nice and would change out the bedding and bring warm towels daily. Everybody had a smile. It is going through some renovations, but it's good for the price. Tall, walk in showers and hot water on demand. Great for construction and laborers. Price is super fair and he offers a weekly rate that's discounted. Would definitely stay here again.
