My husband and I recently stayed at the OYO Newquay Hotel for 4 nights from Friday, 25th to celebrate my birthday & anniversary. I would like to take this opportunity to commend the exceptional service provided by members of your management team—Mahboib Sheikh,Sam Chakray and MS, who attended to us during our stay. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm hospitality went above and beyond our expectations, and they played a significant role in making our stay truly memorable. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room beautifully decorated with balloons, cake, drinks, and other thoughtful touches. It was a heartfelt gesture that deeply moved me and made the occasion feel incredibly special and meaningful. Throughout our stay, the team demonstrated empathy, courtesy, and a strong sense of duty of care for our wellbeing and satisfaction. I would also like to specially recognise General Manager Mahboob Sheikh who assisted me over the phone during the reservation process. He was friendly, knowledgeable, empathic and professional, ensuring that my preferred dates were secured and even followed up to confirm my satisfaction. In our view, Mahboob Sheikh,Sam, Chakray, and MS are the Face of OYO Newquay Hotel. They are true assets to your organization, and we sincerely recommend that they be formally recognized for their outstanding service. We left the hotel feeling refreshed and well rested . I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Beach Hotel in Newquay while I was in the area for work training. As a local Cornish resident, I thought it would be more convenient to stay close by with my back-to-back work and training schedule, and it definitely took some pressure off. The receptionist was absolutely fantastic—her customer service was top-notch, and I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves for the amazing job she does. She was always available if I needed anything. The room sizes are a bit cozier than some other hotels, but honestly, it was perfectly fine for my needs. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. The staff's friendliness and welcoming attitude really stood out to me, and if I find myself back in Newquay, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
