A bit of a late review... I stayed here back in April of 2009. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had dinner in the upstairs dining room and I was greeted by the kindest and most beautiful young lady: Helen Bokin or Boykin. (Unfortunately her last name escapes me) Needless to say I was stricken by her. Long story short: I was there briefly, the service, food and rooms were wonderful and I thought about Helen ever since. She sparked something in me I haven't felt since. I hope she is doing well and happy with her life. I am sorry I never did say thank you for the bookstore recommendations nor did I say good bye.
Geez, I don't get the bad reviews. We had a quadruple room in the backyard, familly with 3 kids. The room was good! No luxury, but clean and even quiet, although wood everywhere, so every move tends to be squeeky. The communication with staff was top notch, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is being paid on the spot in the morning, where you can select, what to get. And it's good too! Sometimes expect longer waiting time (20+ minutes), but the outcome is tasty. The location is right in the middle of the Nessie centre, so if you're equipped with monster-loving kids, can't go wrong here. Recommended!
