A Hidden Gem in Pokhara – Truly Felt Like Home!🤍 I initially booked Hotel August Inn for just one night through Booking.com, but after experiencing the property and the warm hospitality, I ended up extending my stay for several more days. And honestly, I’m so glad I did! The rooms are exceptionally well maintained — neat, clean, and thoughtfully arranged with all the basic amenities you might need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in maintaining hygiene and tidiness really stood out. It felt more like a cozy, boutique home than a commercial hotel. One of the biggest highlights of this place is the terrace view. It's simply stunning! From the rooftop, you get panoramic views of Pokhara’s major attractions — including the majestic Annapurna range, the Peace Pagoda, and parts of Phewa Lake. Whether you're enjoying your morning tea or just relaxing in the evening, the view adds a serene charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. The location is also perfect — peaceful, quiet, and away from the crowded touristy hustle, yet still close enough to reach Lakeside or other landmarks easily. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and accessibility. A special mention goes to Rajkumar, the host. He is one of the most genuine and helpful people I've met during my travels. Always available, super responsive, and truly dedicated to ensuring your stay is pleasant. From local tips to making arrangements, he goes out of his way to help in every possible manner. His warmth and professionalism added so much value to my experience here. To sum it up, Hotel August Inn is not just a place to stay — it’s a place where you’ll feel truly welcomed and relaxed. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pokhara — whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family. It’s rare to come across such well-managed, peaceful, and scenic accommodations with such a personal touch. Will definitely be coming back!

I was a bit worried about the location of my room reservation in booking.com . It was a fresh entry for me to nepal so I don't have a sim card . But I mannage to reach here . After that I realised this is a 6 flore building and best place to stay . I met people those who stay far away from this location and still happy. For me it's 5 minutees walking distance to the main attraction called , "lake side " Bit the comfort bed and quitness is make the really comfort to stick with your bed . So be careful . Plus the wifi is truly amazing. Just loved it . The rooftop restorent is come with Amazing view . The coffe it's okey but the real bread and omlet just perfect for your morning.It is a healing the combo of the view and the breakfast. You can do all kond of trekking from here . The Raj Gupta can explain explain everything to you but it's a big place and he is busy always . Find your time to speak to him and he always have tme and patience to talk to us. Well as a host its tiering to talk to the all the time ( I am a host too ) This place felt like an lonely planet place ( the globel traveling book before internet ) , It have a lot of privacy and not that it's not an easy place to meet other travellers who want to go for trekking. In a way it's really appreciat that who want to feel them self like a meditation it's a right place . Highly recommend and want to come back with my companion.
