I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful front desk staff. They speak English, which isn't always a given on this island. The hotel is located on the main road. My room was located at the back of the property and was therefore pleasantly quiet. The complex is situated between two mosques, both of which are quite audible. However, this is simply part of island life and not a real drawback for me. The pool area is clean and comfortable – definitely a plus for me. Conclusion For around 200,000 IDR per night: absolutely fine. 👍 For 500,000 IDR or more: in my opinion, far too expensive for the very basic amenities, the small room, and especially the very basic bathroom. My rating: - 💰 At 200,000 IDR: 7/10 - 💰 At 500,000+ IDR: 5/10 For the low price, a night's stay here is certainly acceptable. However, if you're willing to pay significantly more, I think you'll find better options in Banyuwangi. Der reguläre Preis soll bei etwa 540.000 IDR liegen – diesen Preis würde ich für die Lage und die Ausstattung definitiv nicht bezahlen. Rund 200.000 IDR finde ich dagegen fair. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach, aber sauber. Es gibt einen Fernseher 🤣 – allerdings mit ungefähr drei Kanälen. Das Badezimmer ist zweckmäßig, aber optisch wirklich nichts Besonderes. Bei meiner Ankunft lag sogar noch das Handtuch vom Vormieter im Bad 🤣. Beim Wasser gibt es leider nur zwei Extreme: kalt oder brühend heiß 🫣🤣. Eine vernünftige Temperatur dazwischen scheint nicht vorgesehen zu sein. Positiv überrascht hat mich der freundliche und hilfsbereite Frontdesk. Das Personal spricht Englisch, was auf dieser Insel durchaus nicht selbstverständlich ist. Das Hotel liegt an der Hauptstraße. Mein Zimmer befand sich allerdings im hinteren Bereich und war deshalb angenehm ruhig. Die Anlage liegt zwischen zwei Moscheen, die beide gut hörbar sind. Das gehört hier allerdings einfach zum Leben auf der Insel und ist für mich kein wirklicher Kritikpunkt. Der Poolbereich ist sauber und gemütlich – für mich definitiv ein Pluspunkt. Fazit Für ca. 200.000 IDR pro Nacht: absolut okay. 👍 Für 500.000 IDR oder mehr: meiner Meinung nach deutlich zu teuer für die sehr einfache Ausstattung, das kleine Zimmer und vor allem das sehr einfache Badezimmer. Meine Bewertung: - 💰 Bei 200.000 IDR: 7/10 - 💰 Bei 500.000+ IDR: 5/10 Für den günstigen Preis kann man hier durchaus eine Nacht bleiben. Wer allerdings deutlich mehr bezahlt, bekommt meiner Meinung nach in Banyuwangi bessere Optionen.
