Our second hotel was one step up from a hostel: Collection O at Jalan Padma near Legian Beach (Collection O has many various hotels in the region). This was a bare basics hotel; a large bed, private shower (more of a wet room), air conditioning, safe, WiFi, and that was it. There is a community fridge and kitchen area available and an Indonesian breakfast could also be added. We did get this breakfast but it really wasn't anything special, and arrived in a takeaway box with a name slapped on it and left on the table. The WiFi was positively shocking; the hotel is broken into WiFi sections supposedly for a strong signal no matter where you were, despite it not being large at all, but it was constantly breaking and changing to another network, only to swap to another and then another - all of which needed a different password, often not the one you were given - but never quite connecting to any of them. Admittedly we need the internet for work, and not just to post photos, so keep this in mind if that is important to you. For the cost, it was okay, and if you are on a bare basics budget and just need/want a bedroom, then by all means this one fits the bill perfectly, but I can't imagine we'll ever go back.

We stayed here with my brother for two weeks, we’re mainly working and the rooms had desks, AC, good lighting and 0 noise from outside, also it’s really close to the beach so you can easily catch the sunset everyday. The person taking care of the place is always smiling and there for support in case needed, she has been super warm and you can see she takes good care of the premises. Recommended 🙌🏼
