We had an amazing time in East Java! It’s so much less crowded than Bali, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday. Even though we didn’t surf, we loved hiking through the forests and watching the sunsets on the beach. We are really thankful for the incredibly helpful staff, especially the manager of the homestay. They provided great tips on how to reach beautiful spots like Red Island Beach and the best trekking routes in Alas Purwo, helped us rent a scooter, and organized our transport to Bali and a trip to the crater. The room was comfortable with a private bathroom, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. We definitely plan to return one day!
