Stayed here for one night while passing through Seaside - we were in the “River building”, a very short drive away from the reception building. Room was clean (smelled a bit strongly of cleaner but nothing an open window couldn’t fix) and I appreciated they provided stand-up fans as they provided some nice air circulation and white noise. Great water pressure in the shower. I found the room very quiet. The beds were comfy. I could not figure out the TV for the life of me - I took a solid 15min to get it working and then there was no sound no matter what I tried (I’m in my 30s for reference, generally good with tech!) I’d also prefer a deadbolt latch as opposed to just a regular lock. It’s a few blocks away from “downtown” Seaside and maybe a 10min walk to the plaza with the Safeway.
I feel like.. if you run a hotel, hospitality is probably your main job.. the older gal at the front desk while not seemingly rude and unkind on purpose, definitely made us feel unwelcome. The room was cozy and the bed super duper comfortable. Overall, the room was a great for the price I paid. My family hasn’t really ever lived with units that had air conditioning so even on the hottest weekend of the year, the seaside air made it very comfortable. I’d imagine it would be difficult for those who keep their homes at 72° lol. There was construction outside out window, not the hotels fault and closing the window solves a lot of the noise issue. My kiddo liked watching it happen so didn’t bother me.
