We originally booked the City Centre location because it was closer to town and the beach. The TV went out in our room and the onsite manager allowed us to move to this location because of the inconvenience. She didn't have to offer us another room but she went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. That alone would warrant a five star review. The room was clean and spacious. We had a big desk, king bed, fridge and microwave. And my husbands favorite part. A deck looking at the river. He would have spent the whole trip out there if he could have. It is next the bridge but honestly felt super private and quiet regardless of that. Could even hear the ocean. The grounds below our deck needed a good cleaning. You could tell trashy awful people just threw their trash out of their rooms onto the ground below (did not bother my hubby, he was fixated on the water) The TV had OnDemand which was nice to find movies / shows to watch and the water pressure was great. Bed was comfortable and large. It is a bit farther to get to the center of town but felt safe and accessible. As much hate as both locations have... It is a great option for when you want to go to seaside and not spend $200 on a hotel room. They are budget motels that are clean and functional. Accept the imperfections and quirks. I figure we are going for the town and the beach the room is just that... A room to stay in, relax and sleep. Which they have exceeded in. Not perfect but well worth the stay. I would 100% stay again.
Do not book more than 7 days even if the app or website you are using allows it. They only allow 7 days at a time stay at this location even though booking dot com allowed me to book and pay non refundable for 30 days. I had to explain my circumstances and be willing to move rooms every 7 days, because I rented a kitchenette they ended up allowing me to stay in same room, with the understanding I had to allow room service every couple days. Other than that it was all very lovely and enjoyable. Most hotels in the area do not allow more than 7 days either even though the various websites and applications will allow you to. and you could lose thousands of dollars or have it tied up for a month trying to get a refund.
