Built in 1521 AD, the impressive structure still stands tall today. The fort has a triple layout design, divided in three enclosures that contain a church, a water cistern, and the ruins of the main fort. The lighthouse nearby is a great spot to get on top and have a look around. It still works like a beacon for far away ships. The terrain here is however; somewhat rough so do not forget to wear comfortable walking shoes.

A temple of Maruti, or Lord Hanuman is to be found at the banks as well as a statue of the famed Mirchi Baba. It is said taking a dip in the waters of the kund cleanses a person spiritually.
