Known as the ‘greatest literary show on Earth’, the most anticipated Jaipur Literature Festival is back for its 13th edition this year. Started in 2006 with a decent opening, Jaipur Literature Festival has now become the largest literary festival in Asia-Pacific. The festival had only 100 attendees in 2006 and in 2019 more than 400000 people attended the event. Jaipur literature festival is the platform that brings together celebrated writers, authors, humanitarians, business leaders, sportsperson, politicians and entertainers from across the globe. During these 5 days long duration of the festival, people engage themselves in various discussions and sessions based on a wide spectrum of different topics. How to Reach Jaipur

By Air: If you wish to reach Jaipur via flight, Jaipur International Airport located in Sanganer is the nearest airport. It is located at a distance of about 13 kilometers from the city. The airport is connected to various countries with an intricate network of regular flights. The venue of the festival, The Diggi Palace Hotel is just 10 kilometers away from the airport. From here, you can hire a taxi or a cab to reach there.

By Train: You can also visit the city via railways. Jaipur railway station is well connected with all the major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai and others. Another convenient railway head to reach Jaipur is the Gandhinagar railway station at a distance of 7 kilometers from the city. Once you deboard the train, you can hire a taxi or a cab to reach the venue of the Jaipur Literature Festival.

By Road: Another feasible option to visit the Jaipur Literature festival is via roadways. Jaipur enjoys great connectivity from most of the major cities via a chain of national highways. Several buses of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation and other private buses operate between the major cities regularly.
