Winters are especially pleasant here. The best time to visit the Tajpur beach is during the onset of winter from October to February. How to reach the Tajpur Beach
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata is the nearest airport to the Tajpur Beach. It is at a distance of 180 km from the beach. If you are taking the train, then all trains except Duronto that are bound to Digha stop at Ramnagar for just a minute. From Ramnagar, you can take any taxi or public bus or auto-rickshaw that will take you to the beach in about fifteen minutes. Buses also ply to this place from Esplanade in Central Kolkata and Garia in Southern Kolkata.
