Friendly and attentive staff, friendly cleaning crew too. Room is large, clean and quiet enough, bed is comfortable too. There is a gym downstairs and a few cute dogs outside to say hello to. I’m not sure if the owners speak English but hey, you’re in Thailand. Learn some Thai 🤭 The neighborhood is quiet and the locals are very welcoming and seem happy to see a foreigner. There is local food in the same street and two different small grocery shops, there’s also a 7/11 around the corner. I saw another review which said there’s nothing in the area. I don’t think they looked very hard. There are at least two markets nearby and also a Big C, McDonalds, two KFCs, and a whole new shopping centre nearby that is in the process of being expanded. The area is developing nicely with lots of food to choose from. There is a great place about six minutes walk across the road to get sak yant, the traditional Thai tattooing, Ajarn Samart.
