The location is great, right at the end of Khaosan Road, making it super easy to find. The sign is large enough that we spotted it right away, even without checking a map. The room was tidy, though we did hear a bit of noise from the bar/club outside. This seems to be a common issue for hotels in this area, so it wasn't a big deal for us since we chose this spot. However, the hotel is quite firm about the check-out time. We asked for a late check-out since we were visiting the Grand Palace in the morning, but they insisted we needed to leave by noon. We returned a bit late after our visit and were rushing to get ready when they called our room, even though it was just 12:10 PM. In the end, we managed to check out at 12:15 PM, but I was curious if they would have charged us extra for that.

We've visited Bangkok around 10 times and have tried several accommodations both on and off Khaosan, but this place stands out as our favorite. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are tidy and modern. The staff is super friendly. Although we typically skip their breakfast, we’ve found it to be quite tasty. Khaosan can be noisy, but we’ve noticed this hotel is surprisingly peaceful. The rooms come with balconies, which is a nice touch. The hotel feels secure. Khaosan Rd is a fantastic location because, unlike Sukhumvit, there’s delicious food available at all hours, including affordable and tasty street food. This is especially helpful when arriving late or dealing with jet lag. While Khaosan has a lively party atmosphere, you can easily choose how much you want to engage. The only minor drawback is the absence of a pool. Still, we’ve stayed here about four times and plan to return on our future trips to Bangkok.
