The staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. My room was spotless and was tidied up daily around noon. However, one morning I was startled awake at 10 by persistent knocking and a request for cleaning; the girl was Burmese and seemed to be new, which was a bit disruptive since I was feeling under the weather. The bed was comfortable, and all the room amenities functioned perfectly. The swimming pool was quite clean with minimal chlorine odor, making it great for those with allergies. The water was a bit chilly, reminiscent of the Baltic Sea in summer, but I’m accustomed to it. My room also had no unpleasant odors. _Drawbacks_: about a third to half of the budget rooms in the hotel lack windows, except for the bathroom, which means guests have to rely on air conditioning at night, missing out on fresh air and possibly dealing with odors. I was fortunate to have one of the few budget rooms with two windows, so I didn’t need to use the air conditioning at all. Additionally, there are no mosquito nets on the windows or above the bed, but I usually bring my own. This allowed me to sleep comfortably, though I couldn’t spend time in the room at night without applying some repellent. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I plan to book here again, making sure to request a room with a window in advance.

Ich hatte das Zimmer 205, direkt über dem Pool, und es war wirklich schön. Es wurde täglich gereinigt, und ich bekam immer zwei neue Flaschen Wasser sowie frische Handtücher. Der Pool war eine tolle Erfrischung und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück bestand hauptsächlich aus Eiern in verschiedenen Zubereitungsarten und zwei Scheiben Toast mit Marmelade. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hat bei Fragen stets versucht, zu helfen. Mein Nachtzug ging zum Beispiel erst um 17 Uhr, und obwohl ich um 12 Uhr auschecken musste, durfte ich meinen Rucksack im Büro lassen und den Pool sowie alle anderen Einrichtungen bis zu meiner Abreise nutzen. Ein kleines Manko war, dass zurzeit eine große Gruppe junger Franzosen (schätzungsweise 17-18 Jahre alt) im Hotel war, die abends am Pool bis spät laut waren und manchmal herumgeschrien haben. Aber das ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Hotels. Ich würde auf jeden Fall jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn ich in Chiang Mai bin.
