The workers were nice and helpful. The previous reviews are old and outdated. They do offer rooms for pets, but you need to book poolside and pay an extra $300 baht a night. The room was better than most other rooms I have stayed in. The floor was clean, the bathroom clean, the Aircon or A.C. unit was a newer one. This makes a difference here it's a difference between breathing fresher air, you can tell by the color. The newer ones are white, Other hotels still have the old yellow ones, where the air is not always cold and the air smells like mildew. Collection O has the newer white ones with better air and not an old mildew smell. There is a small cafe/coffee shop onsite, they do sell beer, there is a small quaint store across the road. There is a restaurant you could walk to by the water. There is also a small food place with Thai food on the corner of the street. It is more convenient if you have a car or motor bike. You can also walk to the main road and take a Songthaew. You can walk to the ocean, but the better beach is a few blocks away, I would drive or take a Songthaew or order Grab for a ride. I used Agoda to book and received a great deal, less than $500 baht a night.
