Hallo, liebe Reisefreunde! Hier ist meine Bewertung des V.I.P., das wir im März 2023 gleich zweimal besucht haben. Ein hervorragendes Stadthotel! Das Ambiente ist wirklich sehenswert und liebevoll gestaltet. Alles ist sehr sauber, und das gilt auch für die Zimmer. Diese sind ausreichend groß, mit solider Inneneinrichtung, bequemen Betten und praktisch ausgestattet. Die Dusche ist mit einem Paneel und Glaseinfassung ausgestattet. Ein großer Markenfernseher mit zahlreichen Programmen und stets einwandfreies W-Lan runden das Angebot ab. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Einige Zimmer im Innenbereich haben keine Fenster, aber die Abluft und Klimaanlage funktionieren einwandfrei. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl in der familiären Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist in Ordnung. Dank der vielen günstigen Verkehrsanbindungen kommt man schnell überall hin. Zu Fuß benötigt man etwa 20 Minuten bis ins Stadtzentrum. Anfängliche Bedenken bezüglich der Sicherheit in der Umgebung haben sich schnell als unbegründet herausgestellt. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Das Hotel war noch im „Corona-Modus“, was bedeutete, dass das Restaurant geschlossen war und das Frühstück aufs Zimmer geliefert wurde. Das hat leider die Qualität des Frühstücks etwas beeinträchtigt, aber das kann man dem Hotel nicht anlasten und ist sicher nur eine vorübergehende Situation. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert! Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

I spent a few days at this property and was initially a bit skeptical due to the incredibly low price—it seemed almost too good to be true. Typically, in the Philippines, you get what you pay for, but I was pleasantly surprised. While the building and furnishings are a bit dated, the wooden floors and furniture give off a charming, old-world vibe that feels very homey. They provide all the basic amenities like a dental kit, soap, shampoo, and other toiletries. The room I stayed in didn’t have a window, but that didn’t bother me at all. The internet connection was excellent, which was a big plus. The location is fantastic, conveniently close to the airport, with public transport options readily available, and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. A couple of areas for improvement would be: 1) Enhancing the customer service skills of the staff (though they were generally fine). 2) Ensuring the breakfast food quality remains consistent (the first two days were great, but the third day’s meal didn’t quite match the previous ones). Overall, I would definitely choose this property again for a short trip to Manila.
