My recent stay at the Makati Palace Hotel in Manila was a pleasant and largely positive experience, especially considering its excellent location and value. Location, Location, Location! Without a doubt, the hotel's prime location in Makati is its strongest asset. Situated in the heart of the business district and vibrant P. Burgos area, it offers incredible convenience for both business and leisure travelers. Major shopping centers like Ayala Center and Greenbelt are just a short drive away, and there's an abundance of restaurants, bars, and entertainment options right on your doorstep. Getting around Manila was also a breeze, with easy access to taxis and rideshare services, and the airport being a manageable 20-minute drive. Comfort and Amenities: My room was surprisingly spacious and offered all the essential comforts for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and having a mini-fridge and coffee/tea maker was a nice touch. While some areas of the hotel might show signs of age, my room was clean and well-maintained. The outdoor pool was a refreshing escape from the city heat, and the fitness center, though not expansive, was adequate for a quick workout. The availability of a spa and a business center also adds to the convenience. Service with a Smile: The staff at Makati Palace Hotel were consistently friendly and accommodating. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone I encountered was eager to assist and made me feel welcome. Their responsiveness to requests certainly enhanced my overall experience. Minor Considerations: While my stay was enjoyable, it's worth noting that like many hotels in a bustling city, some areas might benefit from a refresh. Also, while the location is fantastic for nightlife, those seeking a very quiet and secluded environment might find the surrounding area a bit lively in the evenings. Overall Impression: For travelers seeking a strategically located hotel in Manila that offers good value for money, comfortable accommodations, and friendly service, Makati Palace Hotel is an excellent choice. It provides a solid base for exploring the city or conducting business, and I would certainly consider staying here again on future visits to Manila.

A mid-range, slightly shabby hotel in the center. The lobby is luxurious, but the rooms are a bit shabby. The building has 5 elevators that operate chaotically. The hotel has a greenhouse effect, airless. There are no windows anywhere, only air conditioning. Entertainment is close, but the area is dangerous. There are a lot of beggars.
