If you’re looking for the usual staycation place with a pool, this is not what you’re looking for. This is more of a place where you and family/friends can stay and rest and use as homebase if you want to spend a day or two to explore Tagaytay and try the popular restaurants there. Bonus: it’s just a few meters away from the wonderful Bag of Beans. The place also has an sir hockey table than can be converted to a small ping-pong table. It has a chessboard and sungka if you get bored. The staff were accommodating and helpful. The owner, with whom my wife transacted, was very friendly, helpful and prompt in her replies to my wife’s inquiries. The rooms, considering the low price point, is well-stocked with toiletries. The aircons worked well too, and the beds have at least four pillows each. All in all, there are five rooms. Room 1 has a king size bed with a pull-out; rooms 2-4 have double size beds, also with pullouts; and room 5 has a double size bed and a bunked bed; so you can fit a lot of people here. Each room has its own bathroom with heated showers. The kitchen, was ok. They have lots of utensils (enough for more than 20 people); and have a working hot/cold water dispenser. Outside there’s a nearby Savemore, Mercury Drugstore, 7/11 and Andoks. I did have a few complaints: 1) during our stay, the heated shower in room 2 didn’t work. 2) considering that the place has five rooms that can accommodate over 20 people, the ref was quite small. 3) parking was only outside, under a tree. By the time we left the following day, one of our cars already had so many bird poop. Having said that, this place is wonderful place that gives you a lot of value for your money.
