I’ll divide this review into the highlights of the hotel and a few aspects that might be a consideration for some guests. To start with, the service is truly exceptional. The staff are warm, friendly, and always ready to accommodate your needs. They work efficiently and perform their roles admirably, from the welcoming reception team to the attentive restaurant staff, room attendants, and the helpful door staff. Each member contributed to making my stay enjoyable. Now, here are a few points that could be a consideration for some travelers, though they weren’t an issue for me: 1. No elevator: I was on the 4th floor, which meant climbing up 4 or 5 flights of stairs to reach my room. This wasn’t a problem for me, but it might be for others. 2. Discounted rooms are located near the main highway, which can be a bit noisy at times. Personally, I didn’t mind this since I’m a heavy sleeper, and when I’m asleep, the highway noise doesn’t bother me. It’s not as disruptive as some reviews suggest. Plus, you can opt for a room on the opposite side of the hallway that faces away from the highway for a quieter experience, and the staff clearly explain this option. 3. They only offer breakfast room service until 12pm. This is great because you can enjoy breakfast in bed if you like. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary breakfast even though it wasn’t included in my package. While there’s no traditional room service, they will happily order from local takeout restaurants for you, which I took advantage of one evening. 4. The rooms are on the smaller side – fine for me as a solo traveler, but there isn’t a lot of extra space. However, it’s not cramped either. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with outstanding service and modern, clean rooms. Keep in mind it’s a two-star hotel, and for that rating, it truly exceeds expectations. I was very satisfied. Checkout was quick, and I had a taxi ready to take me to the airport when it was time to leave.

I recently stayed here for the second time, needing a place to rest for about 10 hours between flights, and this time I had quite a bit of work to tackle. The room was very cozy, and the complimentary wifi made it super easy to stay connected while I worked. I had no issues with that at all. The single rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler. I arrived early, before 9am, and was happily offered an early check-in when I mentioned I wouldn’t be staying overnight. The service here is outstanding, and the atmosphere feels like a 4-star experience at 2-star prices. The only minor drawback is the absence of an elevator, which wasn’t a big deal for me, but could be for others. Additionally, there’s really not much in the way of dining or shopping nearby, aside from an SM hypermarket about a mile up the road. It can be a bit tricky to locate, so expect your taxi driver to do some navigating, but getting back to the airport is a breeze and should take no more than 10 minutes to Terminal 3. With the fantastic price, Avitel is an incredible find compared to most other options near the airport. I look forward to staying here many more times on my future trips.
