I’ll divide this review into the highlights of the hotel and a few aspects that might be a consideration for some guests. To start with, the service is truly exceptional. The staff are warm, friendly, and always ready to accommodate your needs. They work efficiently and perform their roles admirably, from the welcoming reception team to the attentive restaurant staff, room attendants, and the helpful door staff. Each member contributed to making my stay enjoyable. Now, here are a few points that could be a consideration for some travelers, though they weren’t an issue for me: 1. No elevator: I was on the 4th floor, which meant climbing up 4 or 5 flights of stairs to reach my room. This wasn’t a problem for me, but it might be for others. 2. Discounted rooms are located near the main highway, which can be a bit noisy at times. Personally, I didn’t mind this since I’m a heavy sleeper, and when I’m asleep, the highway noise doesn’t bother me. It’s not as disruptive as some reviews suggest. Plus, you can opt for a room on the opposite side of the hallway that faces away from the highway for a quieter experience, and the staff clearly explain this option. 3. They only offer breakfast room service until 12pm. This is great because you can enjoy breakfast in bed if you like. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary breakfast even though it wasn’t included in my package. While there’s no traditional room service, they will happily order from local takeout restaurants for you, which I took advantage of one evening. 4. The rooms are on the smaller side – fine for me as a solo traveler, but there isn’t a lot of extra space. However, it’s not cramped either. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money with outstanding service and modern, clean rooms. Keep in mind it’s a two-star hotel, and for that rating, it truly exceeds expectations. I was very satisfied. Checkout was quick, and I had a taxi ready to take me to the airport when it was time to leave.

mon hôtel préféré aux philippines (sur 6). situé le long de la voie express (skyway) qui peut être bruyante, les chambres orientées vers pasay sont tranquilles, celles donnant sur la route un peu moins, mais cela reste tout à fait acceptable ! l'hôtel est bien placé, le quartier est vraiment agréable ! n'oubliez pas de visiter le célèbre moa (mall of asia) où il y a toujours quelque chose à faire, surtout près de la mer, vers la grande roue ! vous pouvez vous y rendre en taxi, en jeepney… ou à pied (environ une heure de marche) en traversant makita-pasay, le quartier est typique, charmant et sécurisé ! pas de mendiants, c'est propre, pas de prostitution, ne venez pas ici pour les filles ! ce n'est pas non plus le centre de makati (le quartier d'affaires), c'est plutôt un petit village au cœur de la ville ! concernant l'hôtel, les chambres sont petites mais confortables et surtout impeccables ! l'accueil est exceptionnel, le service est irréprochable (il y a une prise rj45 en plus du wifi, auriez-vous un câble ethernet ? bien sûr, monsieur). le petit-déjeuner est le meilleur que j'aie jamais eu et il peut être servi au lit ! vous devez indiquer le soir ce que vous souhaitez (le poulet est délicieux, le bœuf tapas aussi), il y a du thé et du café (en plus du nespresso que l'on trouve partout ailleurs). je vais essayer encore un ou deux autres hôtels (le tune hotel notamment) mais celui-ci sera sûrement mon choix à chaque séjour à manila. pas très loin de l'aéroport, ce qui réduit le coût du transport. ps : un petit conseil, à moins d'être très chargé, sortez à pied de l'aéroport (sur votre gauche en sortant), marchez 15 minutes, accédez à la route et prenez un taxi là-bas (ou un jeepney si vous savez où aller). le coût sera de 150 pesos au lieu de 400. le taxi à l'aéroport se paie à un intermédiaire qui prend une marge importante ! autant le savoir ! on se fait tous avoir une fois, j'aurais aimé être averti !
