Idols of Goddesses Ridhi and Siddhi are placed gracefully beside the main deity. By looking at the architecture of carved stone pillars, it is said that the temple belongs between the 9th and 10th Century A.D. MIDC Industrial Area also has large manufacturing units of companies like Whirlpool, LG, Fiat, Bombay Dyeing, Carraro, Maccaferri, and others.
On the drive from Pune to Ranjangaon, just about 10 km from the temple is Wageshwar temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Nestled beside a small pond, this temple is the place if you are seeking calmness.
