The service is super nice, everyone tries to accommodate all requests. We even got a three-bed room. Also extra blankets, towels, the taxi order. Everything was done with pleasure. Big thanks to David, who did much more than was necessary and ensured a great experience in the hotel. The rooms are spartan but practical and clean. The location is unfavorable because it is surrounded by a main road and a train route that runs through loudly and honking every hour. (Original) Das Hotel ist einfach super. 4 Sterne entspricht zwar nicht dem, was ich als 4 Sterne kenne. Das wichtige ist aber, das hier im Kern alles stimmt. Der Service ist super nett, jeder versucht allen Wünschen nachzukommen. Wir haben sogar ein Dreibett-Zimmer bekommen. Auch Extradecken, Handtücher, die Taxibestellung. Alles wurde gerne gemacht. Großen Dank hier an David, welcher viel mehr gemacht hat, als nötig war und der rund um für eine tolle Erfahrung im Hotel gesorgt hat. Die Zimmer sind spartanisch aber praktisch und sauber. Die Lage ist ungünstig, da eingekesselt von einer Hauptstraße und einer Zugstrecke, durch die alle Stunde laut und hupend durchfährt.

One of the last available rooms in Gomez Palacio the night before the total eclipse, and by far the cheapest. I did not expect much... I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised! Helpful and welcoming receptionist, and a very nice room. The neighborhood is rather worn down, but that seems to apply to the whole town - at least as far afield as I was able to walk. I felt totally safe walking about alone at night though, friendly people everywhere. There's a train track nearby, and during the day the trains use air horns that surely wakes the dead, but no worries, they're quiet during the night.
