(Translated by Google) On Calle 4, less than a minute's walk from 5th Avenue! There's a Seven Eleven convenience store right on the corner. The Ado bus terminal is a 5-minute walk away. Right next door is Parc Fundadores and the ferry terminal for the island of Cozumel. So, the location couldn't be more perfect! As soon as we arrived, we asked the extremely helpful and kind receptionist if she could lend us an electric stovetop to cook up something quick, even just for breakfast, since all the rooms have a sea-facing balcony equipped with a table and chairs (I brought a small moka pot from Italy, since I don't like drip coffee!) We were satisfied in less than 2 minutes, even with a couple of saucepans! Many other rooms have a full kitchen. Arriving with your suitcases and accessing the reception with your feet directly in the sand is unparalleled! (Woe betide anyone who complains about getting their beautiful little feet dirty!! Come on, we're in the Caribbean!!!) A dream, especially in the middle of the Italian winter (our stay was in January 2026!) Simple and affordable hotel, not luxurious but in typical Mexican style, small but welcoming, so don't have too many or too many expectations, in an enchanting location, well managed, therefore highly recommended! All the staff is extremely kind! The cocktails served on the beach directly at the umbrella or at the bar with the swings are exceptional! Beach towels, umbrella and deck chairs included. In the bathroom there are shower gel and shampoo dispensers. Small but very scenic pool practically on the beach, almost totally unused given the magnificent sea, then in the evening everything is lit up... Well what can I say... It's really worth it! We are more than satisfied (Original) Sulla Calle 4, a meno di un minuto a piedi dalla 5'avenida! Proprio sull'angolo c'è un minimarket Seven Eleven . A 5 minuti a piedi c'è il terminal bus Ado. Proprio lì accanto c'è il Parc Fundadores e l'imbarco per i traghetti per l'isola di Cozumel. Quindi posizione più ottimale non si poteva! Appena arrivati abbiamo chiesto alla ragazza della reception disponibilissima e gentilissima se aveva da prestarci gentilmente almeno una piastra elettrica per cucinarci qualcosa di veloce anche solo per la colazione ,visto che c'è in tutte le camere il balcone fronte mare attrezzato con tavolino e sedie(io dall'Italia mi sono portata una piccola moka, visto che non amo il caffè americano!)Siamo stati accontentati in meno di 2 minuti con tanto di un paio di pentolini! Tante altre camere invece hanno a disposizione la cucina completa. Arrivare con le valigie e accedere alla reception con i piedi direttamente salla sabbia non ha eguali!(Guai a chi si lamenta che si sporca i piedini belli!! Eddaiii siamo ai Caraibiiiii!!!)Un sogno soprattutto in pieno inverno italiano (il nostro soggiorno si è svolto in gennaio 2026!) hotel semplice ed economico,non lussuoso ma in tipico stile messicano,piccolo ma accogliente,quindi non abbiate tante e troppe pretese,in una posizione incantevole,gestito bene, quindi raccomandatissimo! Tutto lo staff è di una gentilezza estrema! I cocktail serviti in spiaggia direttamente all'ombrellone o al bancone con le altalene ,sono eccezionali! Teli mare, ombrellone e sdraio compresi. In bagno ci sono i dispenser di bagnoschiuma e di shampoo. Piscina piccola ma molto scenografica praticamente quasi sulla spiaggia,quasi totalmente inutilizzata visto che il mare è magnifico, poi alla sera tutto illuminato... Be ' che dire..Merita davvero!noi più che soddisfatti

We really enjoyed our stay at Mimi Del Mar. The beach club and the guys that work it are the best part. Even if you don’t stay there, go to the beach club! Eat the food, drink the drinks, and relax on the beach. They have loungers, umbrellas, etc. Luciano, Carlos, and Paco took amazing care of us. When it came to an umbrella, some food, a drink, or asking where to get certain things, they did it all. The hotel is small and quaint and has a real authentic charm. We got a standard room so it was very basic, but it had all we needed. Cold AC and comfy bed. It was also quiet in our room. We met the manager Galia and she was very sweet and let us know all the ways they have been working to update and improve the hotel. If you’re looking for a hotel on the beach that doesn’t cost too much, this is it. We would definitely stay here again. So many shops and restaurants around to walk to. A 5 minute walk to the ferry pier. We did a day trip to Cozumel. And they have massage tables right out front. We got great massages our first day when it was raining and it was so relaxing!
