• Siruvani Waterfalls and Dam The waterfalls and the dam are located at a distance of 37Km West of the city. The water of Siruvani is known for its unique taste. The panoramic view of the dam and the waterfalls are simply mesmerising.

• Black Thunder Set at the foothills of the gigantic Nilgiris, it is Asia's No. 1 Water Theme Park. It is located at Mettupalayam. The water theme park is spread over 65 acres of land with green hills as a backdrop, surrounded by coconut and areca nut trees. This park has fun water games and so much more to offer. It is a great place for an outing with family and friends.

• Marudhamalai Hill Temple Marudhamalai Hill Temple is among the most popular attractions of Coimbatore. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The 12th-century temple is surrounded by many trees, plants and herbs. Some of the herbs are known to have medicinal properties as well. Devotees visit the shrine in large numbers on occasion of festivals like Thai Poosam and Tirukarthigai. Situated on the Western Ghats, Marudhamalai Temple is situated at a distance of 12 km from the Coimbatore railway station.

• Isha Foundation The Isha Yoga Center, which is established by the Isha Foundation, is set at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains in Coimbatore. The centre houses unique architectural marvels like the Spanda Hall and garden, a 64,000 sq. ft. meditation hall and program facility which is the venue for many residential programs catering to various groups. The Yoga Center also houses the Dhyanalinga, a unique and powerful energy-form sitting under a pillarless 250,000-brick dome structure as well as Theerthakund, a sacred underground water body. Every week, thousands of people across the globe visit this unique meditation centre to seek out inner peace and wellbeing.
