Port Blair & Havelock Splendour

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are one of the most remote spots on the planet, lying 1400 km from mainland India and 1000 km from Thailand. The original inhabitants are various aboriginal tribes who exist more-or-less out of the mainstream. Of nearly 600 islands, only 9 are open to foreign tourists, and all of these are in the Andaman’s. The deserted beaches and pristine landscapes of Andaman’s are perfect for one to relax and are honeymooner’s paradise. Havelock Island’s “Best Beaches in the World”, with their incredibly beautiful colours and sylvan surroundings untouched by modern-day mayhem make it a perfect honeymoon getaway! You can snorkel almost everywhere in the surrounding sea. Off the coasts of Havelock Islands or in Mahatma Gandhi National Park reside the most incredible density and variety of marine life. While on the islands, try your hand at Scuba diving, a main attraction of the islands. Also swim amongst one of the world’s most fascinating marine life, colourful fishes and amazing corals.
