Everything was fantastic, with stunning surroundings, beautiful views, and friendly staff. We enjoyed a two-night stay with breakfast included. The first morning's breakfast was delightful, offering a great variety of hot and cold options. However, on the second morning, which was a Bank Holiday, there was a bit of a shortage, especially with the hot food. Only sausages, beans, and eggs were available. I requested tomatoes, mushrooms, and hash browns, but they had run out, which was a little disappointing for me as a vegetarian. I ended up having beans on toast instead. It seems like larger hotels should have a better idea of how many guests to prepare for based on bookings. Additionally, I had read that the outdoor pool would be open from May to September, and I even confirmed this when I inquired about it. Unfortunately, it was closed during our stay, which was a bit of a letdown since I could have chosen another hotel with a pool but was really looking forward to experiencing the outdoor heated pool.

The friendliness and support of the staff made our 5-night stay truly memorable. I want to give a special shoutout to Kareema, Stefan, and Maddie, who went above and beyond to help us. The dining experience was fantastic on both evenings we chose to eat at the hotel. We opted out of breakfast since we wanted to explore local options each day. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcome pack filled with various juices in our fridge and the selection of coffee pods for our espresso machine, each accompanied by a description of its origins and flavor profile. I highly recommend getting a fresh jug of milk to keep in the fridge; it really enhanced our coffee experience. I’m already looking forward to our next visit! By the way, everyone in our wedding party couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful their stay was.
