My husband and I are frequent visitors to The Leven because you know you'll have top notch good food every time. We decided to go this weekend with no notice to the restaurant, no prior booking. The staff were extremely busy with a full restaurant and no tables free, we weren't in a hurry and really didn't want to go elsewhere, we decided to have a few drinks in their amazing garden overlooking the river, (no problems to us! - we could of sat here all night) , it's so picturesque. The staff were so helpful and friendly and managed to get us a spare table inside for our mains. I can't thank them enough. Fantastic service, delicious fresh food and amazing scenery. Will be back again for sure. A hidden gem in Stokesley.
A group of us stayed the night before doing the Lyke Wake Walk for Charity. Everyone here could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location to the start of the walk was perfect, the hotel itself was lovely and clean and the town is also so pretty. The locals and team at the Leven made us feel so welcome and I truly cannot recommend them highly enough.
