Not a hotel review, just pub meal! Wasn't too sure whether to do a 3 or 4 rating really, but I want to be generous as I thought the menu options were totally to my taste and had a lot of good starters and curry options. We did ring ahead due to it being bank hol weekend and told this was ok despite the girl being a bit confused when we arrived. Unfortunately it seemed on this day the order wasn't received 100% at the bar as they forgot we wanted the 2 peoples starters with the meal and forgot a side completely. This seemed like a very easily done error though we did find it strange when they bought one person's meal and swiftly came back to take it and give it to another customer who had ordered the same thing... The girl did try her best it seemed as it can get flustering im sure. The order was quite mixed and its really not the flavour or portion size you'd have at a proper curry house however I was content with my meal, just a bit of seasoning might take it up a level to give it a more authentic feel. Thankyou for the service though!

Lovely modern room, with everything you need, the usual kettle etc but with the bonus of a small fridge and a safe. Comfortable bed and a quiet room despite it being attached to the pub. En-suite shower room was spotless. Staff were very welcoming and there is ample exclusive parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was more continental style, ie not cooked, but that wasn’t really a problem. Shower drain was a little blocked, but that was going to be sorted as we left. All in all, a very good hotel experience and we would recommend this hotel to anyone attending anything in this area.
