We were given a double room right away, and the receptionist was kind enough to offer it to us because we would be staying in a room with separate beds (when we booked it didn't say how many/which beds there would be) or which room, so we were very happy. We took our dog, who we didn't have to pay for (the receptionist was kind enough again). We didn't find the room hot or stuffy, and even though it didn't have air conditioning, the fan worked perfectly. The bed had a mattress that seemed new and comfortable, and the sheets, blanket, and pillowcases were clean. The bathroom was also ok, everything was clean and organized. As I said, it's not a 5-star hotel, so the food available for guests at breakfast is simple and for those who are only staying for a few days, which was our case, we didn't see any problems. The location is also pretty good, Lagoa da Pampulha is about 15 minutes away. As soon as we booked, I did a quick Google search and read almost all the reviews. I saw that almost everyone was giving the place a bad review, and I was a little apprehensive, I admit... But I was surprised as soon as I walked in. I found the entrance hall to be beautiful and the room, as I mentioned above, pretty good! A 10 out of 10 experience for the 2 days we stayed. De cara já recebemos um quarto de casal, o recepcionista foi um querido em nos oferecer porque ficaríamos em um com camas separadas (no momento em que reservamos não apareceu quantas/quais camas seriam) e nem qual quarto, então ficamos bem felizes. Levamos nosso cachorro, que não nos foi cobrado (o recepcionista foi um querido de novo). Não achamos o quarto quente e nem abafado, mesmo não tendo ar condicionado, o ventilador nos serviu perfeitamente. Cama com colchão aparentemente novinho e confortável, lençóis, coberta e fronhas limpas. Banheiro ok também, tudo limpo e organizado. Como disse, não é um hotel 5 estrelas, então as comidas disponíveis para os hóspedes no café da manhã são simples e pra quem vai para ficar poucos dias, que foi o nosso caso, não vimos problema algum. A localização também é bem ok, a Lagoa da Pampulha fica há mais ou menos 15 minutos de distância. Assim que reservamos eu dei uma rápida pesquisada no google e li quase todos os comentários, vi que praticamente todos estavam avaliando o ambiente mal e fiquei um pouco receosa, confesso... Mas me surpreendi assim que entrei, achei o hall de entrada bonito e o quarto, como já citei acima, bem ok! Experiência nota 10 para os 2 dias que ficamos.
