Dehradun, situated 236 km from Delhi, is everything that a travel destination should be. It is a perfect blend of city and countryside; there are several forests to explore, and also malls, gaming parlours and bars to make you feel at home. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, its name means ‘dera’ or home in the Doon Valley.
