To contribute to our work in consumer technology and to support and drive innovation, we are thrilled to welcome Suvesh Malhotra as VP Engineering at OYO.

As part of the technology leadership team at OYO, Suvesh will help us in delivering an award-winning hospitality experience by making technology the core differentiator.

In his role, he will oversee consumer technology including consumer experience, ordering and payment platforms and data analytics to design and deliver solutions to meet evolving consumer needs.

Prior to OYO, Suvesh was leading technology for BuyVIP, a flash sales e-commerce platform by Amazon.com. He is experienced in working with large-scale e-commerce platforms, distributed systems, machine learning-based systems, mobile apps, social network platforms and IoT technologies. He was formerly the CTO of Stepout. He has also worked with homeshop18 and Oracle in the past.

Suvesh is an IIT Guwahati graduate. On the personal front, he likes to play table tennis, follows Barcelona and likes to be a good dad.
